Is it me or does anyone else think that vampires of late have suddenly turned pretty? Sparkly skin and flashy cars, I have to say that I still prefer my vampires tall, dark and only coming out when it’s dark. Cloaked in the velvety night, lurking the shadows, vampires have some sort of an allure and mysterious aura that I never quite figured out. But it is exactly this shroud of mystery that fuels my fascination with them no matter how vampires may have evolved through the times.
With the new Eclipse movie just released on the silver screen, here are some gorgeous lip products I scouted on Sephora’s Beauty Blog to help you get in touch with your inner dark child. Be it something to help you play the damsel in distress or a lippie to create a vampy look, pick from a spectrum of crimson reds to deviously dark shades.
From top left: Fresh Sugar Plum Tinted Lip Treatment, Stila Pomegranate Crush, DuWop Twilight Venom, Givenchy in 19 Black Plum, Kat Von D Homegirl in Dark Plummy Brown, and Illamasqua in Pristine Matte Black.

The DuWop Twilight Venom looks particularly sexy. With the lip stain as seemingly drops of blood swimming in a crystal clear venom-laced liquid lip conditioner, it seems you’re supposed to “shake before use (to represent the blending of the human and vampire worlds)”. Containing argan, avocado and olive oils as well as vitamin E, this limited edition Twilight Lip Venom probably will give your lips a plumping with an extra bite.
