Birthday’s are always fun. Aside from reminiscing about the exciting things I did the last year, the months after my 28th birthday have also been nothing short of spectacular.
As per the norm, the celebration was a simple affair. I caught up with close friends and family over dinner on the day itself (Yay! Burger!) and drinks and had brunch with girls the weekend before.
They gifted me with a few of my favourite beauty products.
I have a weakness for Kiki and Lala, so the Little Twin Star Lip Essence and Body Lotion by Sophie Monk got me squealing in delight.
An OPI 007 Bond Girls nail polish set from my bb girl Liza. I think she’s telling me I’m like one of them Bond Girls.
The lovely Nuffies sent over a birthday card highly appropriate for social media addicts like me and Lush soap and shower gel set.
Thank you Nuffnang Singapore!
I also received the very powerful Lancome Genefique Youth Activator, perfect for keeping my youthful looks from the kind folks at Lancome Singapore. Accompanying it was the Teint Miracle Natural Light Creator Translucent Loose Powder and I’m very excited to try it because I am a big fan of the Teint Miracle and Mat Miracle foundations.
Philosophy skincare to keep my skin matte! Philosophy is quite new here in Singapore but I have been reading raving reviews about their products and feel so blessed to have received the Total Matte skincare set to try!
Last but not least, I had a wonderful experience in Paris thanks to my sweetheart!
Not only did we have an adventure in Paris, he also surprised me my getting me my very first Chanel bag!
It isn’t just the paper bag! Here’s the unboxing video.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to wish me Happy Birthday and kept me in your thoughts. And to those who made the effort to come down and grace me with your presence, heartfelt thanks go out to you too!
September is already flying by and there are so many things happening this weekend – Formula 1 and 1 World Music Festival. I can’t wait. I’ll also be sharing more about my trips Paris and Seattle in the coming few posts! Till the next post!
