Sleek Makeup Graphite Palette Review

Unless you’re into make up, you’ll probably never have heard of Sleek make up. I dont blame you. Before this, I’ve never heard of Sleek. Sleek make up is a UK make up brand headquartered in London, UK but well-known around the world for their range of 12-colour I-Divine Palettes. To kick start my new year into make up, I decided to give this much-lauded make up brand a go and landed myself its limited edition Sleek make up Graphite Eyeshadow Palette.

It seems there’s an unspoken rule for a lot of the make up brands to house their make up in clean black no-frill packaging. The palettes dont look like much from the outside but like mom always said never to judge a book by its cover. The glossy font on the cover, one that tempts you of what’s within, is what helps you set it apart from all your other black packaged make up.

Sleek Make Up Graphite Palette Swatch

For sure, the Sleek make up Graphite palette is the perfect accomplice to my vice of smokey eyes. The 12-colour Graphite eyeshadow palette houses an entire range of darkness to help you create the classic smokey eye. All the shadows are amazingly pigmented and velvety. I usually find it difficult to find dark shadows that give true colour payoff. However, as you can probably see from this Graphite palette swatch, there was no need for me to worry about that. Swatching the colours was a joy.

Because the shadows glide onto your eyelid and blend beautifully – on top of its insanely affordable prices – I can see why Sleek make up is a favourite among make up fantatics. Paying SGD 24 for a fantastic quality 12-colour eyeshadow palette makes me feel as though I took candy from a baby. 12 eyeshadows may seem a tad much. But in actual fact, the 6 lighter shades can hold their own on top of being a perfect complement to the 6 darker shades. Together, they make up a stunning spectrum of dark delight that is the Sleek Graphite palette.

  8. Mavis says:

Will it smudge? I can’t seems to find this color on ebay :(

  9. dweam says:

Mavis: Hey babe. It wont smudge but if the pigments fall on your cheek becareful when you brush them away. Because the pigments are very pigmented they will leave a mark even with gentle brushing ;)
