This is probably the millionth and one time I’m going to tell you about the importance of using sunblock to protect your skin from sun damage. Today, however, we’re going into the specifics. Sun damage changes the cells under your skin and essentially directly causes melanin production. Take a look at your skin. See your skin tone? Everyone has pigments in their skin called melanin. It’s what gives our skin its natural colour. The darker you are, the more melanin pigments you have. Fairer skinned people, conversely, have lesser melanin.
