Urban Decay Celebrates Its 15 Year Anniversary

Urban Decay 15th Anniversary

Urban Decay, the beauty brand with an edge, is celebrating its 15th year anniversary this year! Other than already having a whole host of amazing products under its belt including the Urban Decay Naked Palette, Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume 3 and holding the title for being the brand with one of the best make up primers around, the Urban Decay Primer Potion, my favourite make up brand is taking things one step further on their 15th birthday.

They’ve launched a limited edition collectable set of fifteen full-sized 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils with six brand-new never seen before shades and a sharpener to always keep your pencils on point! I’ve tried the Glide-On Eye Pencils previously and I adore the smoothness of the pencil. They dont call it the Glide-On Eye Pencil for nothing. It truly lives up to its name – just glide your pencil across your eyelid for instantly lined eyes.

I’ve seen the liners in Sephora Singapore. But as much as I love Urban Decay, I’m not too sure about the practicality of owning 15 eye liners in various colours unless you do stage make up on a regular basis. Give me the browns, blacks and whites anytime.

Are you a fan of Urban Decay? Would you buy this limited edition Urban Decay Glide-On Eye Pencil set?

I love UD’s Glide-on pencils too! And though I’m really keen on its anniversary set, I’m still hesitating because there seem to be so many browns (and such close shades too) in the set. Methinks UD could’ve varied the shades much more for greater variety & versatility. I want a plum colour! A Pink! A Forest Green! haha :)

That said, if you consider the price, the anniversary set comes really cheap :)

I pretty much only wear neutrals so this set is great for me.

That plum shade by the way, is Rockstar. It looks dark but it is actually a really nice deep purple.

Anyway, I bought the set. I’ll keep the ones I want (about 6) and probably sell the too-bright shades for $10 each.

Ruth: It is cheap for so many eyeliners. Pink would definitely be interesting and so would plum. Not too sure if ppl would know how to use them though. You’re right about the browns being quite close, but that means you’ll never run out of brown eyeliner! Haha.
