I fail in life when it comes to resisting bling. So when I set my eyes on the OPI Burlesque 2010 Holiday Winter collection, it was love at first sight. Oooooo… Sparkly! There are 12 different nail polishes in this OPI collection, 6 shimmers and 6 glitters, but I’m really only concerned with the glitter nail polish series.
When I saw the collection on the shelves, I decided I HAD to have it. But I couldnt possibly buy everything, so I ended up with Simmer and Shimmer (blue glitter) and Bring on the Bling (gold glitter) after much pacing around in the make up section. It was hard to decided which one to get and you might get an idea how difficult it was for me to narrow down the choices when the other 4 glitter polishes have bling-tastic names like Glow Up Already, Extra-Va-Ganza, Show It & Glow It, Sparkle-icious.
Fans of Christina Aguilera and Cher will be pleased to know that this OPI nail polish collection is inspired by a movie (to be released Nov 2010) of the same name! The bright lights and glamour of burlesque is truly captured by the obscene amount of glitter in this aptly named OPI Burlesque Glitter series. I was not at all disappointed when it came time to paint them on my nails.

It was soooo hard to get a proper picture of these gorgeous OPI nail polishes. The photos dont do the insane glitter any justice. The glitter dazzles and dances in the sunlight. Although I said I wouldnt get the entire series but judging by how sparkly and intensely packed the glitter is in this range of OPI nail polish, I think I might just head out and buy me the rest of the entire OPI Burlesque collection. Bling it on baby!
I like Bring on the Bling more, and if I were to wear it, I think I’d apply an orange or orange-pink shade to most of my nails, and the Bring on the Bling on the thumbnails. How does that sound?

where can i get OPI ? how much is it?
fyfy: OPI can be found in two of the make up shops in Singapore: Sephora and Robinsons. There may be some salons that carry it too. But you'll have to check whether the polishes are for sale.
