Even in an international pageant we must never forget to give credit to those who deserve it. Beautiful skin deserves great recognition because it takes effort in maintaining it. Luscious locks and fit figures are a mixture of both good genes and meticulous care on the individual’s part. A good physique also requires time and effort on the person’s part to develop, thus we must give credit where credit is due.
I remember how I received the Miss Body Beautiful award during the Miss Singapore International pageant in 2007.
Although it came as a surprise, it was definitely nice to know that all the buffing, scrubbing, polishing and exercising paid off and was recognised by the esteemed judges.
Like it or not, we all NEED a little recognition now and then.
