You’d think that now the exams are over, I’d be at home blogging everything that I’d had wanted to previously. Instead, I’ve just been bitten by the lazy bug. I’ve just been home the entire past few days bumming and watching streaming teevee. Waking up, walking around aimlessly at home. Plonking myself in front of the dining table and stuffing my face before gluing my bum to the computer chair for a good few episodes of Heroes. Ahh.. That’s the life yo.
On that note, because of my endurance, I’ve finished the entire Season 1 of Heroes! YAY! Hahaha! Good job! Might start on Season 2 soon. But before that, I’ll give my eyeballs a break.
Today was the last Urban Mix training of the year. Hrm.. Come to think of it, the lao jiaos werent around. People like Tina, Ah Fen, Andre, ZZ, Mag didnt show. No wonder the class was so small. Haha. It felt like DAPee training round two, but of course this time with the junior batch. Pei Shan took class and she turned it down a notch, which is really great because we hardly ever get back to basics during our regular classes. Hur.
The newer batch of UM-ers (ie. us) had the privilege of performing with said lao jiaos. Twas a small show la. An opening item for a DnD. Nothing much, but still fun nonetheless. Cos we got to dress us as Saturday Night Fever! Bold, bright colours, big afro hair and all that glitzy stuff. What’s not to like. Wahahaha! And there was a mini dance competition by the organisers. Fennie’s group won third! YAY! Too bad we didnt stay long enough to watch the competition. Haha. We were busy cam-whoring in the holding room.

Stuffing our faces before the show. We need all the energy we can get.

Doing the disco fever.

On stage.

Fennie in her sexay costume!

Us joining in the dinner. Table 34. YEAH right. We didnt get to eat anything la. All they gave us was water. No food from The Shangrila kitchen.
Code:Edge competition was dope. The showcase by the various dance groups was spectacular. And of course the long awaited “live performance” by 2xs was what we were all waiting for. And guess what. THEY HAVE A VIDEO UPCLOSE! Watch and be prepared to pick your jaw up from the floor.
Lee Daniel or Patrick Chen? Tough choice. Haha!
